Helical-toothed gear racks are available in typical industry dimensions from module 2 to module 12. The material, hardness, and accuracy determine the respective load.
Several material conditions are available, including soft versions (C45, 42CrMo4 V, 16MnCr5), induction hardened, case hardened, nitrided, as well as through-hardened variants (e.g., X90CrMoV18). The modules range from 2 to 20, with the maximum length of the gear racks depending on the quality grade.
For quality Q4, the maximum length is 1000 mm, for Q5 to Q9 up to 2000 mm, and for Q11 up to 3000 mm, depending on the material and module. This flexibility allows for tailored solutions for specific applications in industries such as stainless steel, food, medical, and packaging.
