Type R
To meet the requirements ranging from medium to high effectively, cross-roller and ball guideways are utilized.
The world's first standardized frictionless guideways, the R linear guideway/cross-roller guideway and ball guideway, were introduced by SCHNEEBERGER. Suitable for a wide array of applications within the medium to high requirement spectrum, this guideway can be outfitted with either rollers or balls. When used in conjunction with SCHNEEBERGER recirculating units, it allows for the construction of guideways with any stroke length desired.
Type N/O
Equipped with needle cages, the type N/O linear guideways are particularly well-suited for applications involving high loads. They feature the same installation procedure as the R and RN types. The SCHNEEBERGER composite cage, made of steel and plastic, allows for smaller displacement resistance values when compared to similar needle guideways.
Typ M/V
Similar to our type N/O, the type M/V linear guideway differs in its external dimensions. This rolling guide is also notably suitable for high loads and is distinguished by its low displacement resistances.
Linear guideways with and without metal cages
Different versions of linear guideways, both with and without metal cages, are available. Unlimited displacement paths can be enabled by combining roller recirculating units with linear guideways of types A, B, C, D, and E. Especially suitable for use with the ECO-ROLL recirculating unit are the ECO type guideways.
We are also pleased to manufacture on request earlier product generations of guideway types F/G, J/K, L/M, W/Z, and complement them with suitable accessories.
Type R, RN and RNG Cross-roller guideway
Three quality classes (NQ, SQ, and SSQ) are available for our type R cross-roller guideways, as well as our type RN and RNG guideways, suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -40° to +80°C. To prevent cage creep, the FORMULA-S cage control can also be equipped on RN and RNG guideways. Similarly, Type SK, SKD, SKC, and SR recirculating units can be combined with R and RD guideways.
Type RN
The type RN linear guideway, an enhanced version of the type R guideway, maintains the same dimensions while offering a higher performance level due to the larger contact surfaces of the guideway tracks. Additionally, the narrower gap width between the guide rails enhances protection against contamination.
Type RNG
The linear guideway type RNG, similar to the type RN, features larger contact surfaces for the guideway track. Their cross-section is smaller compared to the R and RN guideways, which necessitates minimal space and weight optimization. This offers a decisive advantage in highly dynamic applications.
